Petone bungalow renovation
This Petone Bungalow took on an extensive renovation turning it from a run down outdated house into a light, modern, beautiful family home.
Fundamental Construction was proud to be chosen to project manage and carry out all of the building work.
Our work started with the foundations where we re-piled and re-levelled the house as the original totara piles were rotten at ground level.
After all of the internal linings were removed, insulated and replaced, custom made joinery was constructed and installed into the new kitchen.
Our team used the old rimu studs that were removed from an internal wall to create the Handmade bench top onsite.
Once the inside was complete, the team moved outside to work on the hard landscaping which included exposed concrete driveways, paths, and boxed gardens which really finished off the project nicely.

prestigious wellington re-build
Fundamental Construction was involved in taking on this large luxury home re-build.
As this home was on the leaky building register it needed to be re-clad.
The original house was a 1960s Moroccan style plastered house with flat roofs and parapets. The house required a full re-design and a complete renovation to bring the home into the twenty first century inside and out.
Insulation was a key factor on this build, with high level insulation and high end double glazing units installed, we focused on eliminating draughts and now the house needs little to no heat to keep it warm.
Working with Upouku Architects in Wellington, and the Wellington City Council, no stone was left unturned and this home was transformed into one of Wellingtons prestigious homes.
